Bethlehem Day Tour

Runs Year Round

Full-Day Tour

Two Guides & All Admissions

Get an unusual close-up look at both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Take a tour with no political stance, that gives each side the opportunity to tell it like it is. The media manipulates historic reality, so it’s important for thinking people to experience the situation for themselves.
PLEASE NOTE: You must bring your passport on this tour.

Tour Highlights

Not all residents of East Jerusalem are Palestinian; visit the primarily Jewish neighborhood of Gilo.

See the security fence from both sides and both points of view.

Visit the quirky Walled Off Hotel, which approaches the conflict with art and even humor.

Experience Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity, birthplace of Jesus.

Understand the situation of Christians in Palestine, a mainly Muslim region.

Visit Gilo, a predominantly Jewish neighborhood on the Jerusalem border, where houses were damaged by shooting from the nearby Palestinian refugee camp.

View The Controversial Security Fence From Both Sides -- Israeli and Palestinian

View the controversial security fence from both sides. First, see the Israeli side, next to the checkpoint where Palestinians come to work. You’ll be led by former Israeli-Palestinian negotiator Dany Tirza — who actually designed the Israeli side of the fence and guided both Obama and Hillary Clinton on their visits to the area — or another one of the conflict specialists we work with. Col. Tirza will provide figures showing the dramatic reduction in attacks on Israelis, and the surge in Israel’s GDP since the fence was built.

Then cross the border (be sure you have your passport ready) and meet your Palestinian guide. Visit the unique Walled Off Hotel with its gallery of Palestinian art and museum dedicated to the history of the wall; you’ll gain a profound understanding of the conflict from the Palestinian point of view.

Lunch on Great Grilled Lamb Chops, Palestinian Style

Lunch will be fresh grilled local lamb chops, Palestinian style. Vegetarian option available. (Lunch not included in tour price.)

Experience Bethlehem - Birthplace of Jesus

Experience Bethlehem, including the Church of the Nativity, commemorating the birthplace of Jesus. See how life is in a Palestinian city, for both the Muslim majority and the Christian minority.
