The challenge of planning a family trip to a foreign land is not to be underestimated. My daughter couldn’t lay down her camera. She has a wonderful eye for the camera, and documented our entire trip for her Instagram. I’ve never seen her so thrilled, as every photo was a winner. The vintage cars, the European “old-world” chic even more beautiful on the background of the raw wild desert. It was beyond world, and as beautiful as the photos were, they don’t compare with the ones we have in mind. 

One of the highlights of our trip was a night spent under the starlit skies of the Sahara. As we sat around a campfire, sharing stories and laughter, I saw a spark in my children’s eyes. Their deep questions and their insights from what they experienced made me experience a brand new side of their personalities. It reminded me exactly why me and my wife make these trips with our teenage kids a priority. We are raising well rounded adults with beautiful souls. Nothing inspires me more than that.

This made our Morocco trip into more than just a vacation – it was a journey of discovery, a chance to broaden our horizons and deepen our understanding of the world.
